Celebrating Black History in AV with Mike Blackman

In celebration of Black History Month, AVNetwork and AVNation are taking a look at the many talented persons of color across the AV industry. Today we have the privilege to talk to Mike Blackman, the managing director of Integrated Systems Events. We discuss how he found himself in the AV industry, his involvement in events like ISE, his experience as a person of color in AV, and more.

Tim Albright is the founder of AVNation and is the driving force behind the AVNation network. He hols a B.S. from Greenville College and is pursuing an M.S. in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. When not steering the AVNation ship, Albright has spent his career designing systems for churches both large and small, Fortune 500 companies, and education facilities.
