At Integrated Systems Europe, Prysm Inc. announced the appointment of Steve Scorse as vice president & general manager, EMEA.
Based in the U.K., Scorse brings with him more than 30 years of general management and global sales and marketing experience in the AV industry. At Prysm, he will be responsible for establishing Prysm’s international program and increasing overall growth throughout the region.
“Steve has the direct experience needed to drive immediate sales and profitability for Prysm and our business partners in the region,” said Dana Corey, vice president of sales and marketing. “His leadership and industry knowledge is vital as we seek to take advantage of the current market dynamics in EMEA. I am confident that Steve, with his comprehensive knowledge of the industry is ideally equipped to lead our market expansion efforts in EMEA.”
Prior to joining Prysm, Scorse spent over a decade at Barco in both Europe and the USA. He held various management positions including Vice president & General manager - Barco Events Business Unit, Vice President Global Sales & Marketing - Barco Media & Entertainment Division, and Vice President Global Business Development - Barco NV. In these roles Steve was responsible for taking Barco’s LED & Projection Systems Business Unit from start-up to annual revenues in excess of $200M.
