Rane Corporation announced today the release of six new technical notes adding to their popular RaneNote series. Four of these are from the noted acoustics, audio and video consultant Jim Brown of Audio Systems Group, Inc. in Chicago, covering these topics: Mixing for Three-Channel Reinforcement, Acoustics & Sound Systems in the Contemporary Church, Pin 1 Revisited, and SCIN: Shield Current Induced Noise.
A new note of interest to all who use DSP units by different manufacturers is by DSP Consultant, Ray Miller, intriguingly titled: Why DSP Boxes Set the Same Way Differ.
The last new RaneNote is by Dennis Bohn, Rane CTO, entitled LEED and the MA 4 Multichannel Amplifier. It is an information document aimed at architects designing LEED certified buildings.
