Heilbronn, Germany - In a move to strengthen its presence in the systems installation industry, beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG has acquired Interkom electronic Kock & Mreches GmbH, a Wedemark, Germany-based company specializing in wired conference and simultaneous interpretation systems. The acquisition is effective immediately.
The acquisition of Interkom electronic Kock & Mreches GmbH illustrates the growth and success of beyerdynamic's Conference and Presentation unit, and completes beyerdynamic's objective to offer a range of products to that growing industry. beyerdynamic will add Interkom's products to its portfolio worldwide.
For 25 years, Interkom electronic Kock & Mreches GmbH has manufactured innovative products for the conference installations market. That tradition has continued with its recent focus on customized solutions of analog and digital wired conference systems. The company will remain at its Wedemark location through March 31, 2006, at which time it will relocate to beyerdynamic's production facility in Heilbronn, Germany.
