- X2O Media announced that its Xpresenter digital signage platform has been chosen to power the digital signs at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). The new digital signage network will make its debut at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show from Jan. 7-10.
- As one of the most modern and functional facilities in the world, the convention center will rely on Xpresenter to display event-specific information for CES and other major events on its 24 digital signs. In addition, wayfinder maps will help attendees navigate the 3.2-million-square-foot facility while scrolling RSS tickers and live local weather feeds will keep them up to date with the latest information.
- "We were impressed with the superb screen monitoring capabilities along with the PowerPoint- based authoring tools of the Xpresenter platform," said Brad Rodgers, Vice President of Information Technology for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). "These features, coupled with the broadcast-quality graphics, straightforward scheduling interface, ease of content development, and real-time data feeds, will allow us to enhance and expand digital signage services for the Las Vegas Convention Center and our clients."
- X2O's Xpresenter is an end-to-end platform designed to make creating, managing, and distributing broadcast-quality digital signage content on networks of all sizes available to all users, regardless of technical proficiency or network needs. Xpresenter's patented authoring module allows digital signage operators to produce compelling graphics that incorporate animations, clip art galleries, video clips, and real-time data sources -- all without ever leaving the PowerPoint interface.
- "We are delighted that Xpresenter was chosen for the Las Vegas Convention Center and feel it is a real testament to our technology," stated David Wilkins, X2O Media President and CEO. "With many of the nation's largest conventions held in this impressive facility, and with millions of visitors annually, it is imperative that attendees receive up-to-date, event-specific information in order to maximize their time. With Xpresenter, the LVCVA can easily keep them up to speed."
