- LAKEWOOD, NJ--Neutrik recently provided an assortment of its best-selling products to the audio department of the New England Institute of Art (NEIA). The products will be used to create a cables and connectors reference board for the school's electronics and maintenance lab, which is used by over 500 students in both the associates and bachelors programs.

"Neutrik's recent donation will enable our students to see first-hand the connectors they'll use as professionals in the audio industry," said Rob Lehmann, department chair of audio production at NEIA. "These connectors will never be used in a working or live environment, so the products wont' fulfill their destiny, but having these products on-site for our purposes as an educational reference guide will greatly benefit our students."
The donation included several of Neutrik's most widely used products, such as its X and XX series connectors, XLR chassis connectors, an assortment of its Speakon lockable loudspeaker connectors and cable connectors, EtherCon cable connector carriers, USB and Firewire connectors, phono sockets and various phone plugs and jacks. The audio department is hoping to have the board completed and ready for use in the electronics and maintenance lab for the beginning of its May 15th class semester.
"We are honored that The New England Institute of Art chose Neutrik to be the sole-manufacturer showcased on its reference board," stated Jim Cowan, president of Neutrik. "At Neutrik, we strive to not only manufacture high-quality products, but to support the ongoing education of tomorrow's audio professionals."
