CEDAR RAPIDS, IA--The new NSCA University Partners in Education program provides valuable benefits for anyone wishing to further their industry education.
Here's how it works: Manufacturer partners agree to support regional training classes by providing classroom space for students. In addition, member companies can sign up to donate food to students, NSCA staff members, and volunteers; invite members to tour their facilities; and recommend lodging at local hotels.
"We value these contributions from our manufacturer member companies. Their support makes it possible to bring our education classes to the industry with a substantial cost savings realized," says NSCA executive director Chuck Wilson. "That allows us to reinvest those savings into new education programs. It really is a win-win for everyone."
Partner in Education members include Atlas Sound (with locations in Phoenix, AZ; Ennis, TX; and West Dundee, IL), Crestron Electronics (Rockleigh, NJ), Bosch Communication Systems (Burnsville, MN), and Shure Incorporated (Niles, IL).
NSCA plans to continue adding new manufacturer partners to its roster. For more information about becoming a partner or to learn how you can receive training, please contact NSCA senior director of professional development Norah Hammond at 319.861.8626.
