COLUMBIA, MD--SPL Integrated Solutions' Sheri Moore, an account delivery manager, has been appointed as an alliance liaison to the Polycom User Group (PUG) Board of Directors. The Alliance members are vendors, dealers and consultants who supply products and services that compliment Polycom's line of products. In her position, she will represent the alliance member's point of view to the PUG Board of Directors.
Sheri Moore is the account delivery manager on-site at The Dow Chemical Company in Midland, MI. In her 17 years at SPL, she has expanded the service group from one person to over 40 on-site engineers and technicians located in four locations. During this time, she has effectively supported the increase usage of Polycom videoconferencing systems to improve the productivity at Dow.
Commenting on her appointment, Moore said, "I am extremely excited about this opportunity. I have been involved with PUG for five years and consider them to be the gold standard for associations in our industry. Besides being an advocate to the PUG Board of Directors for the current alliance members, I want to reach new communication vendors and Polycom end users to encourage them to become involved with PUG. This close-knit, almost family-like, association offers vendors and end-users the opportunity to be involved in changing and shaping the videoconferencing and collaboration industry. Most of all it is uniquely positioned to influence the development of standards-based multimedia collaboration technologies and applications that many videoconferencing users are seeking.
