ST. PAUL, MN--More than 450 system integrators and electronic system contractors from the U.S. and Canada attended Capitol Sales Company's 13th annual Dealer Education and Technology Showcase in Minneapolis held May 5 and 6. Participants selected from a full offering of technical classes focused on real-life applications along with business classes designed to help dealers drive even more successful growth strategies.
Paul LeMay attended the conference and is the Regional Sales Manager for Panamax - Furman. Lemay talked to dealers throughout the showcase and said, "I met a dealer who flies in from Los Angeles. Attending for last three years in a row, he told me this event is as good as CEDIA EXPO."
The evening of May 5 featured a Technology Showcase where attendees "rocked out" at the popular networking event. JBL, Harman Kardon, and Infinity featured the hottest segment in consumer electronics-video game consoles. Dealers had the chance to test drive a full setup of the Rock Band video game with up to four "band mates" on a fully-lit stage complete with a PA system, large screen TVs, projector and surround systems.
Throughout the evening, attendees networked with over 70 product manufacturers at the tradeshow-style event to learn about the latest in technology. In addition to live product demos inside, participants toured the Panasonic Living in HD semi-trailer, Atlas Sound Commercial Sound truck and MTX home audio truck located outside the hotel.
