- Delphi Display Systems is introducing Insight RPM, a revolutionary new operational tool for the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. Insight RPM, or Real-time Performance Metrics, is the first in a suite of Insight product offerings designed to provide a total solution for managing and optimizing drive-thru operations from the single store business to the large enterprise-wide chain.
- Insight RPM provides in-store, real-time visual feedback of speed of service and sales metrics via a graphical dashboard displayed on full color LCDs located in the QSR production area. The dashboard displays vital system health information for Order Confirmation System Displays, Drive-thru Timers, Wireless Headset Systems, Digital Presell/Menu Boards, and other technology in the QSR. SMS Text or Email alerts can be configured to provide real-time notification of system health problems or when pre-determined performance metrics fall outside of target thresholds. Insight RPM also includes an integrated and robust Order Confirmation capability that supports interfaces to over 90 different POS platforms, covering virtually all popular POS systems in use today. The system supports both Ethernet and legacy serial connectivity to insure compatibility with virtually all new and legacy POS systems. Also included is a comprehensive reporting capability with multiple standard and customizable reports that correlate drive-thru speed of service and sales data on a car-by-car basis. These reports can be exported in a variety of common file formats.
- Insight RPM can be supplied with new Drive-thru Timer and Order Confirmation equipment or can be configured to interface with existing Delphi C-Series displays and Fast Track 2+2 timers. The modular and extensible design architecture allows easy integration with other technology platforms in the future. System configuration is performed using a standard web browser from a local or remote location and the entire system is fully PCI Compliant.
- "Delphi has invested considerable resources into the development of this product in response to our customer’s need for an integrated and centrally managed technology solution in the drive-thru," said Ken Neeld, President and CEO for Delphi Display Systems. "This product will not only meet the needs of our customers today, but will be extensible far into the future as technology continues to evolve in the QSR."
