BROOKINGS, SC--Creative Technology (CT) and Daktronics recently joined forces to create a rich light emitting diode (LED) video backdrop for the world premiere of the 2009 Toyota Venza and Toyota A-BAT. Both were unveiled at Cobo's Riverview Ballroom during the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Mich.
George P. Johnson Co., the world's premier event marketing agency, and CT equipped the stage with PT-4 modular LED video display technology, the newest addition to the Daktronics modular ProTour collection. "The product's high contrast level and quiet design made it the ideal choice for the event," said Jeff Meyer, General Manager at CT, Chicago.
The modular panels were built to form two, 9 x 16 foot wide, video screens. The screens displayed corporate logos, graphics and video content to a full room of eager attendees during Toyota's opening press conference. "The press conference was a success, the client was impressed with the image detail shown on the screens and the overall quality of the displays," said Jeff.
