Mike White, CEO of Multi-Media Solutions (MMS) and an audio visual system designer, public speaker and author of industry reports has been elected governor-at-large of the InfoComm International 2006 Board of Governors.
"For AV system integrators like Multi-Media Solutions, InfoComm is more than just a membership organization; it is the world-recognized source for training, certification, industry conferences and trade shows, research, industry news, market data and much more," said White. "I was honored to be nominated, and am humbled by the resulting election. I take my leadership responsibility to this world-wide industry association very seriously."
White has been in the world of AV systems for decades. In 1977, he started Computers Plus, which specialized in point-of-sale touch screen systems. In 1990, White co-founded Multi-Media Solutions, absorbing Computers Plus within it. Additionally, he has his CTS certification from InfoComm, is one of the founding partners of the ClearPath Group, and through industry recognition, MMS was invited to join the USAV Group, a national AV integrator consortium. White serves in a leadership position for the Digital Signage Group within the USAV Group, and has organized and taught their Digital Signage University.
