Christie is introducing the HD405, the first native HD model in the company's single-chip DLP portfolio. It has full 1080p resolution, 10-bit image processing and BrilliantColor processing. The Christie HD405 is configured with a standard RGBCYM color wheel to deliver the best possible color saturation for reproduction of video and data sources. Its native 1080p resolution provides image detail for single or multiple images.
FaitalPRO Neodymium Loudspeakers
FaitalPRO has launched 10 new neodymium professional loudspeakers for sound reinforcement markets: four compression drivers, HF series, an alloy elliptic horn to match the high frequencies neodymium compression drivers, and five woofers and mid woofers, again with high grade neodymium magnets. Digital View SVH-1920 High Def LCD Controller
Digital View has added a text overlay feature to its SVH-1920 advanced high definition LCD controller that merges video and informational text on a single display. Text sequences are delivered via the controller serial port and can be overlaid on up to four separate lines at the bottom of the screen. Utilizing Digital View's proprietary serial port protocol, this feature enables the SVH-1920 controller to receive text strings of up to 40 characters and display them in fixed locations at the bottom of the LCD screen.
Sony LCD Projection Systems
Sony is expanding its line of video projection systems for commercial applications with two new LCD models for larger venues. The new VPL-FW300L (7,000 lumens) and the VPL-FH300L projector models are designed to deliver outstanding images while in the same room as the audience. The VPL-FW300L projector has a WXGA+ resolution of 1366 x 800, while the VPL-FH300L unit delivers resolution of 2048 x 1080. Both models are housed in the same chassis, and share the same type of lenses, lamps, and filters, as well as the same connections and network functions.
Gefen 2X VGA Extender
When you need to generate the same video for two displays located in a remote location, Gefen's new 2X VGA Extender can deliver. This sender/receiver system does double duty, offering a clean split and the ability to extend two displays up to 1,000 feet. The kit includes both the sender and the receiver together with high quality cables for each end. A single power supply is also provided that can be plugged to either end. This device is active and boosts the signal using wide bandwidth differential amplifiers for a sharp, clean image.
Peerless Industries SmartMount
Peerless Industries' 12 new SmartMount Articulating Arm Wall Mount models accommodate TVs from 32 inches up to 63 inches. The SmartMount Articulating Arm Wall Mounts provide four internal cable management channels for cable routing, each with one inch of cable storage space per channel. These channels enable easy management of AV cables and even pro-cord bundles, keeping them virtually hidden from sight to provide a clean installation. Williams Sound CHG 3512 PRO
Williams Sound customers now have the option of charging, storing, and transporting their Williams Sound FM and infrared receiver/transmitter equipment with the release of the CHG 3512 PRO. The CHG 3512 PRO features 12 drop-in-style charging bays, and is compatible with any Williams Sound receiver or transmitter in the new R35 design enclosure. LED's illuminate red to show when the units are charging; and conveniently flash to indicate when the units are fully charged. Aurora WACI NX Controllers
Aurora Multimedia now offers six new models of expanded WACI NX controllers. With the addition of these models and the recent launch of WACI POD, a remote port accessory, the WACI NX control system is now the most extensible IP based control system in the market. The recent release of the NX-PAND port expansion module and the NX-DAP digital audio player has given Aurora the elements needed to offer eight master controller configurations. ITC Gold Plated Connectors
Instant Tool-less Connector has added gold-plated connectors to its tool-less line of products. ITC's patented tool-less connector system provides a quick and cost-effective alternative to soldering or compression systems, while the gold plating resists corrosion for a reliable connection in any environment. Current solder and compression termination systems require multiple tools to make a connection. ITC's connectors, however, do not require a tool for termination, a significant benefit for commercial AV system installers.

Phoenix Display International (PDI) has introduced a new line of sunlight-readable 5.7-inch TFTs with QVGA resolution. The sunlight-readable 5.7-inch QVTA TFT module offers improved contrast, color saturation, and response time over CSTN products. PDI also offers the 5.7 QVGA as a standard transmissive module with or without a touchscreen. PDI achieves sunlight-readable performance by manufacturing the TFT cell using high aperture panel technology, high transmittance color filters, and an anti-reflective polarizer scheme. There is no loss of image quality from display to display.
Intelix AVO-A4-WP-F Wallplate Balun
Intelix is releasing the AVO-A4-WP-F wallplate balun, which distributes two channels of high-fidelity stereo audio up to 2,500 feet over standard twisted pair cable, such as Cat-5 or Cat-6. The front panel of the AVO-A4-WP-F features four gold-plated female RCA connectors on a white decorative faceplate. The rear panel features an RJ45 connector and optional grounding screw. The installed unit fits in a standard depth wall-box. Used in pairs or with a rack-mountable Intelix AVO-A4-F modular balun, the AVO-A4-WP-F transmits bi-directional 20 Hz to 20 kHz analog audio up to 2,500 feet.

OSRAM Diamond Dragon LED
OSRAM Opto Semiconductors' Diamond Dragon LED achieves brightness of up to 250 lumens, and is available in whites ranging from 2700K through 6500K as well as all monochromatic colors. The low thermal resistance provided by the Diamond Dragon's SMT package allows heat produced in the chip to be efficiently removed from the LED package. The maximum junction temperature of 175 degrees Celsius makes these LEDs robust and enables applications where the LED cannot be easily cooled. The combination of low thermal resistance and high junction temperature capability allows Diamond Dragon LEDs to be integrated in small spotlights such as MR-16's bulb retrofits, and recessed downlights.
