Digital Signage Expo East - DSE's first regional show, scheduled at the PhiladelphiaConvention Center on September 16 - 18 - has arranged a free pre-conference day Comcast Experience walking tour courtesy of Barco and Niles Creative Group.
The tour - at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16 - will give attendees a chance to see the world's highest resolution LED display at Philadelphia's new ComcastCenter. The cutting edge Barco display, spanning 85 feet, provides a canvas for astonishing graphics and photo-realistic vistas, transforming the ComcastCenter entrance from a lobby into a city-wide destination and spectacular forum for public art.
Earlier that same day, Digital Signage Expo East will present a full day "Content Showcase." The Wednesday and Thursday conference days offer three "Super Sessions," a choice of 16 Conference workshops, as well as 21 new "Lunch & Learn" sessions.
Chris Gibbs, executive vice president of ExpoNation, LLC, the producer of Digital Signage Expo and DSE East, said, "We are pleased to be able to offer this free walking tour of the Comcast Center as an another opportunity for our attendees to experience innovative applications in digital signage technologies."
The ComcastCenter walking tour will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 16th at the ComcastCenter at 1701 John F. Kennedy Blvd., only a few blocks from the convention center. Those interested in participating must RSVP to steve.sheldon@barco.com.
Digital Signage Expo/East and Interactive Technology Expo/East will be co-located at the PhiladelphiaConvention Center to run September 16 - 18, 2008.
