IRVINE, CA--VIZIO has earned the #4 ranking on Orange County Business Journal’s list of 100 fast-growing private companies in Orange County. The company which manufactures one of America’s most popular brands of flat panel HDTVs, listed revenue of $1.9 billion in 2007 with a three year growth rate of 4,056 percent. The Orange County Business Journal recognized VIZIO Inc. at a cocktail reception and printed the complete list in its October 6th edition.
The Orange County Business Journal ranked companies by revenue growth for the 12 months through June 2006 to the 12 months through June 2008. To qualify, the companies must be Orange County-based and privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. In the ranking, VIZIO Inc. is recognized for its yearly sales of $2.3 billion, up 480 percent from two years earlier. The recipients were honored at a cocktail reception in Irvine hosted by The Orange County Business Journal at the Hyatt Regency and drew close to 450 people.
