- NEW YORK, NY — The ESTA Foundation is excited to announce the Behind the Scenes 2008 raffle prizes at LDI. Every day industry members create scenes, looks and experiences that take performances to new places and unknown locations with breath taking scenery. Now you can win the chance to go on your own dream location, by winning your very own "any place in the world" Dream Vacation.
The lucky winner of the Grand Prize will receive a $10,000 gift certificate with a premier travel agent that can be used to travel anywhere in the world. Second Prize is a $2,500 Amazon Gift Card and Third Prize is a $1,000 Amazon Gift Card.
"Often our industry is creating "a vacation look" for everyone else, so we are very excited to offer this great opportunity to get away on your own vacation," said Rick Rudolph, Chair of the Behind the Scenes Committee.
Tickets are just $25 each or 5 for $100 and will be available throughout the LDI show at the Behind the Scenes booth #2810. A maximum of 2000 tickets will be available. Tickets will also be available at the ESTA Annual Dinner on Thursday evening and the Rose Brand party on Friday evening. LDI 2008 takes place from October 24 – 26, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. You do not need to be present to win.
Behind the Scenes provides financial assistance to entertainment technology professionals who are seriously ill or injured. Funds may be used for medical expenses, funeral expenses, or basic living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utilities, food, transportation, and childcare. Funds are available to anyone who has worked at least five years full time in the entertainment technology industry—whether they're on the road or in a rental shop; they're a TD or the head of R&D; they work in a theatre or on a cruise ship.
