Aviom will be offering two types of seminars: one session is designed for contractors, consultants and other audio professionals and a second is a how-to for end users. The featured seminar for audio professionals for the month will be Aviom’s Pro64: The Next Generation of Digital Audio Connectivity held on December 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern (12:00 p.m. Pacific). - “The interest in digital audio distribution and networking continues to grow, and everyone needs reliable information on what these systems can do,” explains Jeff Lange, Aviom's consultant liaison and training manager and instructor for the majority of the webinars. “These webcasts help our current users find out how to get the most out of their Aviom gear and inform those who are interested in learning more about how our gear can help on current and future projects.”
- Aviom’s interactive online training sessions include a slide presentation, an audio feed and sometimes video. Throughout the sessions users are able to interact with the hosts of the seminar, asking questions via a chat window.

- Aviom Training for Professionals:
- Aviom’s Pro64: The Next Generation of Digital Audio Connectivity
- For years, manufacturers have been promising a digital architecture that frees designers and installers from the limitations inherent in analog signal distribution. Yet digital connectivity technologies have largely fallen short of their promise, solving some problems while introducing new sources of complexity and instability. Aviom’s Pro64® Series products and Pro64 A-Net® deliver on the promise of digital audio connectivity with an unparalleled combination of simplicity, flexibility, fidelity and reliability.
- During this session, attendees will learn how Pro64 systems can be quickly and easily designed for a host of applications and discover how the Pro64 Series can help them deliver better performance to their customers while making design and installation more efficient. This session will be offered on December 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern (12:00 p.m. Pacific).
- Aviom Training for End Users:
- Getting Started With Personal Mixing
- Ideally suited for bands and tech teams new to personal mixing, this course runs through some useful setup tips, answers some of the most common questions new users have, and highlights some techniques for getting the best mixes possible. The course includes plenty of time for Q&A, so users will be able to have their specific questions answered. This session will be offered on December 3, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern (5:00 p.m. Pacific).
