- Network operator POSTV has announced that it will use BroadSign Digital Media Logistics Suite (DMLS) for managing its in-store digital signage networks in the Netherlands.
- POSTV has started deploying the DMLS with new network installations and is replacing old software in its existing networks. General Manager of POSTV Michiel Reinoud says he expects approximately 6000 new screens to be in operation by the end of 2006, including 5000 screens in MediaMarkt hypermarkets.
- According to Michiel Reinoud, Broadsign DMLS was chosen because, unlike other solutions available today, it has a built-in media sales workflow, which greatly facilitates dealing with media buyers. Other important considerations were the experienced dedicated team of developers and support specialists, quick response to customization needs, and the ongoing development process that allows BroadSign to release a new version every 3 months.
- BroadSign International is also granting POSTV distribution rights for BroadSign DMLS for the territory of Benelux (the economic union of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg).
- BroadSign International's EVP of Sales and Marketing Brian Dusho said the Netherlands is a very advanced market in terms of advertising technologies and we are happy to have POSTV as our partner here and in Benelux. This company is a proven leader in retail digital signage, with a lot of hands-on experience.
