- IVCi, LLC introduced its portable audio visual integration kit for the Cisco TelePresence System 500, called PAVIK 500.
- The Cisco TelePresence System 500 uses high-definition video and other immersive features to create life-like virtual meetings. Participants may use the system for one-on-one calls, or to join larger multipoint conferences. IVCi's PAVIK 500 transforms the Cisco TelePresence 500 into a portable system that can connect with standard audio visual components typically found in conference rooms.
- Designed and built by IVCi's custom telepresence solutions division, the PAVIK 500 is comprised of a Cisco CTS-500 TelePresence engine in a portable audio visual (AV) rack with standard inputs and outputs for camera, audio, and monitors. The rack also contains audio meters and video preview monitors for easy installation and configuration. A control system processor and touch panel are provided for easy control of system components, and a portable road case allows for easy deployment to remote sites for special events.
- "The PAVIK 500 is designed to deliver a new level of flexibility for companies conducting TelePresence System 500 meetings," IVCi's EVP of sales and marketing, Charles Macli said. "Our clients can use the PAVIK 500 in any room with network availability, including conference rooms, auditoriums, and training rooms." IVCi provides network assessment, training, and ongoing maintenance service for the PAVIK 500.
