Newmarket, NH -- Russound offers products and expertise customers need to enjoy multiroom audio and video systems. The company pairs powerful systems using the latest technologies with intuitive controls to give customers high-performance, easy-to-use solutions. At this year's CEDIA show, Russound will unveil a number of new products.
Two new controller amplifier products, the CAA66 and CAS44, let homeowners manage diverse audio sources from different areas of the home. Both afford a wide range of installation and use options, including additional zones and sources; different remote capabilities, and price ranges. The CAA66 and CAS44 kits ship with remote controls and keypads (available in three options) for one-touch control of home audio. The CAA66 includes higher-end features, like simplified programming and control via an IR library and intelligent IR learning capabilities.
The ST2S Smart Tuner is a Sirius Satellite Radio tuner and an AM/FM tuner in one redesigned single-rack-high chassis. Built on RNET, the Russound exclusive networking platform that makes all Russound components easy to use, the ST2S features: six banks of six presets per tuner for saving favorite satellite channels or radio stations; custom naming for the 72 presets and a parental lock out feature to easily block access to specific Sirius channels that may be inappropriate for children.
ComPoint, the company's first paging and intercom system, is presenting a unique set of capabilities and simple operation. Able to integrate with the user's distributed audio system, ComPoint allows: system-wide paging, to make an announcement over the whole system; point-to-point intercom, allowing the user to reach a particular person/room; door station call and reply; listening to another room, letting the user listen to what's going on in any room with a keypad; do not disturb, preventing all communication to a particular keypad.
