- Christie has expanded the company's single-chip DLP line of projectors with the addition of the Christie DS+305. The projector delivers video reproduction with new high bandwidth electronics including 10-bit image processing and PixelWorks DNX processing. It also features new optical improvements and the latest BrilliantColor multi-primary image processing for optimum color saturation. The Christie DS+305's versatility is well suited for intensive applications such as retail signage, high-resolution modeling or front projection control rooms. This portable SXGA+ projector delivers up to 3,300 ANSI lumens with a contrast ratio of 2000:1, and fits unobtrusively into small spaces.
Elite Screens VMAX Plus3
The VMAX Plus3 is the latest addition to our line of large commercial electric projection screens. The VMAX Plus3 is made from 200-inch to 400-inch sizes to accommodate large presentation halls and community theaters with either a 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios. It uses Elite's MaxWhite 1.1 gain synthetic weave material that provides a wide diffusion cone for easy visibility in a large room presentation. Its internal infrared and radio frequency receivers streamline its appearance by eliminating the presence of external control units and their connecting wires.
Barco DCPB-2000 JPEG 2000 PCI-Express Acceleration Boards
Barco Silex, Barco's center of competence for electronic design services and embedded video coding, released its new DCPB-2000 family of JPEG 2000 PCI-Express Acceleration boards. This family of boards encodes and decodes JPEG 2000 in real-time. The DCPB-2000 family of boards is able to encode and decode untiled images at HD resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 and DCI formats up to 4K, without compromise on quality. Plugged into a PC, the DCPB-2000 products achieve tremendous acceleration in the JPEG 2000 processing flow, reaching real-time coding of very high resolution pictures.
Lectrosonics WA520 Wireless Antenna
Lectrosonics' WA520 Wireless Antenna covers the entire UHF range between 450 and 850 MHz and consists of a directional component and an omni-directional whip element for re-transmission to the receiver. The two components are coupled via a 50-Ohm matching circuit. The WA520 operates by providing up to 7 dB of isotropic gain via the LPDA in the forward direction in order to overcome the inherent loss incurred by re-transmission via the whip component. The resulting RF field signal strength is +0 dBi or unity gain. Thus, the operating range of the WA520 is dependent on placement and the original RF field strength.
Yamaha NEXO RS15 Bass Cabinet
Yamaha's NEXO RS15 low-profile high-output, modular, scalable bass cabinet is the first in the RS Series. The RS15 is capable of operating in both omni-directional and cardioid modes. Hitachi CPX3 3LCD Mobile Short-Throw Projector
