OLD LYME, CT--Sennheiser Electronic Corporation promoted Christopher Currier to associate product manager for Neumann and Klein + Hummel studio systems products.
Currier joined Sennheiser in late 2004 as an accounts receivable associate
and quickly rose to credit manager in just six months. He now reports to Robb Blumenreder, industry team manager for music industry products.
"I am confident that Christopher will thrive in his new position," Blumenreder said. "His appreciation for music and enthusiasm for the company make him a natural for his new role, and also serve him well as the founding chairperson of Sennheiser's employee activities committee."
"For me, the switch from finance to sales and marketing was the next logical
step," Currier said. "I've been working with our dealers for almost four years now and have always been balancing the interests of our company with
opportunities to help our dealers build their business. As an associate product manager for Neumann and Klein + Hummel, I can really take those
efforts to the next level."
In his new role, Currier supports Neumann and Klein + Hummel products by
planning and monitoring inventory levels, assisting with product-related
inquiries and collaborating on marketing activities. The Neumann and Klein +
Hummel brands are proud members of the Sennheiser Group.
A former composition major at the HARTT School of Music in Hartford,
Connecticut, Currier is also fully aware of how kind Neumann microphones and Klein + Hummel speakers are to musical masterpieces. Currier himself has conducted two a cappella choirs and is an accomplished singer and pianist.
