The quick-connect cabling network for classrooms, Liberty AV’s EduLinx system, is now set for use with an enhanced interface called the EZ-Flex Turret. Employing a 26 AWG rotatable design offering more stability while causing less stress on the cabling and connections, the articulating connector is self-contained and will begin shipping in late October.
- More compact and significantly easier to install, the EZ-Flex Turret makes the task of tying all of your cable runs into a standard wall box less time-consuming and more efficient, while eliminating the stress and failures associated with the sharp bends often resulting with the use of traditional connectors. As versatile as it is economical, this latest improvement to the EduLinx product group retains all of the potential for customization you’ve come to expect from Liberty AV as well, bringing new levels of possibility to classrooms using desktop and laptop computers, DVD and VCR players, interactive whiteboards, document cameras, projectors, and more.
The EZ-Flex Turret was built expressly for use with Liberty AV’s EduLinx cabling selections, which are available in both standard and custom configurations, and come in 35, 50, and 75 foot lengths with integrated fanouts or fanouts of your own design. To compensate for future changes, EduLinx cables can also be ordered without fanouts. Installers choosing this option can then choose from Liberty’s catalog of quick-connecting fanout options or specify a fanout created for their own specific needs.
EduLinx supports AV standards for wall plates, cables, and fanouts, and is ideally suited for interactive classrooms, auditoriums, theatres, science rooms, conference rooms, lecture halls, and anywhere else where it makes sense for multiple signals to run over a single cable, the company says.
