- Red Carpet Runway, (RCR), America’s premier red carpet and backdrop company, has teamed with Clarins, the European leader in luxury skincare for over 50 years to launch the Clarins Red Carpet Runway branded in-store events. The six month long promotion aims to generate excitement and increase brand awareness with new customers to the Clarins brand.
- Beginning this month, 140 department stores across the US will be hosting in-store events, where consumers are invited to stop in for their complimentary Clarins make-up application and Red Carpet Runway photo shoot. Participating department stores include Nordstrom’s, Macy’s, Saks, Bloomingdales, Barneys and Lord & Taylor throughout major cities including New York City, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Seattle, Boston, San Francisco and Puerto Rico. Consumers will receive beauty tips, product samples, color touch-ups and a celebrity moment on the Clarins Red Carpet Runway. Participants will receive a framed photo and a special VIP pass with beauty notes from a Clarins beauty expert.
- Clarins Red Carpet Runway rolls out its first of many events at Plaza Las Americas August 14th, South Center Mall on August 21st and at the Houston Galleria on August 27th. Clarins specialists are expecting to take over 18,000 photos with The Red Carpet Runway backdrop. (Full event list available upon request, dates subject to change)
- “Clarins is about connecting the beauty experience to the consumer. With the Red Carpet Runway events, we are able to not only have that connection, but to make it memorable,” comments Clarins Executive Violet Lee.
- “People typically associate the red carpet with something they watch on TV, not something that they can experience themselves. Clarins was a perfect partner when it came to recreating that the feel and experience of the red carpet for their customers. After receiving beauty tips and a touch up, for the first time, clients can experience walking down an actual red carpet, getting their picture taken and receiving the photo of their new look just like their favorite celebrity. Red Carpet glamour falls in line with the cosmetic industry.” comments Doug Melville, founder of The Red Carpet Runway.
