- Teq Gear, Inc. has announced a new partnership and with Scion Technology, UK, the manufacturer for multi-format media distribution technologies in Europe since 1993. Teq Gear will market and distribute the Scion Technology products exclusively under the Teq Gear name in USA and Canada and will be selling the product through selected proAV dealers and several other sales channels.
- The products complete the Digital Signage product lines Teq Gear already offers to the proAV and other Digital Signage markets. Teq Gear carries three main Digital Signage product lines, which include traditional video signal distribution, wired AV-over-IP, wireless AV-over-IP, and dedicated all-in-one turnkey digital signage products.
- The new product line is based on Twisted Pair technology and comes in a variety of different configurations. There are different ways to configure and connect multi-media sources to an array of displays. The system allows a star-type distribution or multiple systems may be daisy-chained with an overall cable length of up to 1000 ft (300m).
