NILES, IL--Shure Incorporated will conduct a series of Advanced Wireless Seminars for its customers throughout the remainder of 2007 and into 2008. The company is staging the events in cities around the U.S. for its dealers and technicians from major venues. The inaugural event was held recently at the former site of the famed Hit Factory Recording Studios in New York.
The Hit Factory was famous for creativity and innovation in recording, and we felt that it was the ideal place to launch this series of seminars, said Abby Kaplan, regional sales manager for Shure Incorporated. This studio has been home to countless legendary performers who used Shure products throughout their careers, so its fitting that we start this program here.
Each six-hour Advanced Wireless Seminar covers the fundamentals of radio waves, transmitter and receiver design, spectrum and white spaces, frequency coordination, antenna placement, scanning equipment, and software aids.
As the spectrum situation gets more complicated, wireless system setup becomes much more important, said Gino Sigismondi, training manager for Shure Incorporated. These seminars give our dealers the tools they need to maximize the performance of Shure wireless systems for their customers.
Additional seminars have been held in Washington, Philadelphia, Houston, and Dallas. Attendees can earn Certified Technology Specialist renewal credits through InfoComm.
