Friends, Renters, Countrymen. Lend me your ears

  • If there is one thing the attendees of other entertainment technology shows have in common it is that their primary work is in live events. It may be a concert, a theatrical production, a corporate show, a Webcast, or any event where people gather and sounds or images are conveyed. Nowadays, the people and companies that serve audiences are probably using the same tools. If your market includes companies that stage live shows, you have to ask yourself, where will they be shopping in the next five years?
  • InfoComm has evolved far beyond its role as the premier audiovisual marketplace and learning center. Increasingly, it is the one show where the needs of all audiences can be served. The InfoComm International Rental and Staging Council represents those attendees that own equipment for hire and have personnel on staff that put on live events. Our members stage some of the largest and most high profile events in North America. These companies have been very vocal in their desire to support vendors who exhibit at InfoComm in the Lighting and Staging Pavilion. In particular they have cited the need for more broadcast theatrical and concert lighting, concert and industrial sound, portable stages, power distribution, logistics companies, and rigging equipment - to name a few.
  • Exhibiting and attending are both very expensive endeavors. There is always a limit to how many tradeshows the market will support. Rental and Staging members employ audio engineers, lighting designers, rigging professionals, video engineers, projectionists, and draftsmen. InfoComm International offers the best training and education resources for our employees in the industry and the most comprehensive exhibit floor in North America. Our needs are expanding every year, and InfoComm is our primary avenue to view new products. The InfoComm Rental and Staging Council is eager to see new products and technologies in the Lighting and Staging Pavilion that will help us produce world-class events. Please contact Mike Doolittle at 703-279-6366 or email mdoolittle@infocomm.org to discuss exhibiting in the Pavilion in 2006.
