MIDLAND, TX--Mitch Clark, president and CEO of Texas-based TOMCAT Global announced that he has signed an agreement selling the stock and assets of the company to UK based The Vitec Group.
TOMCAT, a manufacturer of staging and lighting support equipment for the entertainment industry, has called Midland its international headquarters since the company's founding in 1987. The company boasts as clients some of the biggest names in entertainment including the Rolling Stones, U2, Janet Jackson, Disney and Cirque du Soleil. TOMCAT Global is the parent company to TOMCAT USA. The company also has two distribution hubs: one in Las Vegas, NV and one in Nashville, TN where the company plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities.
