Extron AVTrac

Extron Electronics' AVTrac is a low-profile, floor-mounted cable raceway system with a modular architectural adapter plate enclosure. AVTrac is a cost-effective, discreet alternative to power poles, poke-through devices, trenching, and raised access flooring. It is for use in classrooms, training centers, and corporate boardrooms as well as legacy installations and other reconfigurable spaces that require flexible placement of AV, power and data connectors. The AVTrac is UL/CUL listed and compliant with ADA standards for slope and rise.

AGT Fathom 5.2

Applied Global technologies' Fathom 5.2 allows for pre-engineering, troubleshooting, actual real-time preventive monitoring and SLA tracking so that you can be confident that your video conferences will be trouble-free. Fathom provides real-time active video call monitoring that can be monitored with the active call quality dashboard. Global service providers, local, regional, national, and multi-national companies and the U.S. government have improved the reliability, quality, and management of their video conferencing networks with Fathom.

Kramer Cat-5 And Speaker Cables

Kramer Electronics has introduced three new products: the BC-XTP and BCP-XTP XGA twisted pair cables designed to eliminate skew, and the BC-2S speaker cable. The BCP-XTP and BC-XTP resemble typical Cat-5e cable, but with internal components optimized for transmission of video/audio signals rather than high-speed data. This is accomplished by twisting all four pairs of wire at the same ratio so the actual length of all four pairs is identical. While this configuration renders it unsuitable for high-speed data, in a video/audio application each of the RGB color signals now arrive at the destination at the same time. The result is an image with no color shift or skew.

Bag End PD10E

Bag End Loudspeaker System's double-10 subwoofer system is now available in a self-powered version, the PD10E-I. The PD10E-I fits into locations where space is at a premium. The system packs a lot of bass into a small cabinet, thanks to the company's INFRA technology that provides high-fidelity yet compact bass sound. The PD10E-I subwoofer system is designed to operate below resonance by utilizing the external Infra dual integrator processor, and offers a low frequency response. The system provides flat frequency response down to as low as 8Hz. With its coherent time response, the D10 blends well with most upper range systems, adding the feeling of power and authority to the sound at both low and high listening levels.

Lab.gruppen PLM 10000Q

The first product of Lab.gruppen's new Powered Loudspeaker Management Series comprises a four-channel amplifier, dual Dolby Lake Processor modules, Dante low-latency networking, and features for load verification and performance monitoring. The PLM 10000Q heralds a new era in high-power audio systems for live event production. The PLM 10000Q integrates the amplifier technologies of Lab.gruppen's FP+ Series with the power and flexibility of the Dolby Lake Processor. In addition, it incorporates Dante self-configuring, low-latency audio networking as standard, along with capabilities for verifying and monitoring loudspeaker loads through proprietary LoadLibrary, LoadSmart, and SpeakerSafe technologies.

Panamax HT Series

Panamax released four new power products optimized for home theater systems. The PM8-HT, M8-HT, M8-HT-PRO, and M10-HT-PRO offer increased levels of filtering and advanced noise-reducing technologies for improved audio and video quality, while circuitry protects components from power irregularities. Designed to work with high-definition systems, these new products offer power cleaning and filtration to eliminate common symptoms of AC line noise, including loss of detail, pops, hisses, hums, and visual artifacts, and allow equipment to perform at its full capability for an optimal theater experience.

Crestron MediaManifold CATV Amplifier

Crestron has introduced the first 12-zone bidirectional CATV distribution amplifier featuring individual gain and tilt adjustment for each output. The MediaManifold MM-DS-12 integrates all of the elements of a complete professional head-end into a single compact module, replacing the numerous splitters, combiners, amplifiers, and cables that make up a typical distribution system. MediaManifold delivers high power and headroom, low noise and distortion, and drives signals up to 300 feet providing performance for distributing both analog and digital cable TV signals. Setting proper gain and tilt levels is easy using the built-in automatic calibration, or the optional handheld cable analyzer.

Silent Knight IntelliKnight 5700 Fire Control Communicator

Silent Knight offers its upgraded IntelliKnight 5700 Fire Control Communicator. The IntelliKnight 5700 Fire Control Communicator now conforms to the testing requirements of UL 9th edition standards, and boasts battery charging circuit integrity testing. It provides digital fire reporting over ordinary telephone lines and supports up to 50 addressable devices that allow the user to pinpoint precisely which device has been activated or needs attention. It also uses a distributed power scheme to simplify installation and reduce wiring requirements. The drift compensation feature of the 5700 helps reduce false alarms and pinpoint maintenance problems.

AMX Anterus

The AMX Anterus is a radio frequency identification (RFID) solution designed specifically for use with integrated control systems. Anterus is a new product family that extends the capabilities and features of AMX control and automation systems, allowing users in any commercial or residential environment to locate, track, and secure any device, or trigger automated events. Anterus extends the capabilities of AMX's Resource Management Suite for device management, monitoring, and scheduling.

Intelix AVO-V3HD-F Balun

Intelix's AVO-V3HD-F is a commercial balun featuring BNC connectors for transmitting high-definition component video up to 500 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cabling, such as Cat-5 or Cat-6. The AVO-V3HD-F features three BNC connectors for distributing component video and does not require power. To use, simply connect an AVO-V3HD-F to the source device, connect a second AVO-V3HD-F to the destination device, and link the two baluns with standard unshielded twisted pair cabling. The AVO-V3HD-F is fully compatible with the Intelix DIN-RACK-KIT-F 19-inch rack mounting system.

OmniMount Motion52

OmniMount's Motion52, developed in partnership with Samsung, is a motorized wall mount that allows you to tilt, pan and swivel your flat panel with the touch of a button. The Motion52 is remote controllable with two programmable memory locations and features universal rails for compatibility with all flat panel brands. This large, automated cantilever mount is designed in stylish anthracite and fits most 37-inch to 52-inch flat panels up to 95 pounds. Other features include a low 2.9-inch profile, a motion cable management system, installation template, and wall level.

ATDEC VISIDC Focus Mounting Systems

ATDEC has introduced two advanced new VISIDEC Focus mounting systems for flat-panel displays that range in size from 12 inches to 22 inches. The VISIDEC Focus Micro is a versatile desk pole mount system designed specifically for business, retail, and commercial applications. The VISIDEC Focus Wall is designed to work in any room of the home, small business or commercial environment. Both mounts incorporate ATDEC's proprietary FlexiStar mechanism, an adjustable display mounting head featuring extendable tabs for easy adjustment from 3 by 3 inches to 4 by 4 inches VESA mounting holes.

TechSpa Announcer Telephone Paging System

TechSpa's Announcer telephone paging system is designed for hotels, resorts, convention centers, hospitals, shopping malls, and other multi-zone facilities. The Announcer paging system, which can be expanded per the application's requirements, works on any commercial/industrial rack-mounted or desktop PC and easily interfaces with multiple phone lines via the proprietary modem and soundcard. A user calling into Announcer via an internal or external phone line, as well as a cell phone, after entering a pre-assigned password, is guided through a series of prompts to record, schedule and send pages either to a specific zone or zones, or facility-wide.

beyerdynamic IMS 900 In-Ear System

beyerdynamic has recently added the IMS 900 in-ear-system to its line of high-quality and durable products for professional touring, broadcast, and permanent installation. In multichannel applications where time is a critical element, the IMS 900's 16 pre-programmed UHF frequencies offer an easy setup and quick sound check. The IMS system is made up of two components, the SE 900 stereo transmitter and the TE 900 stereo pocket receiver. The SE 900 transmitter can accommodate up to eight channels per frequency range without interference.

Sennheiser MKH 8000 Series Microphones

Sennheiser's MKH 8000 series of microphones combine the company's RF condenser technology with a compact, modular form factor and a range of application-specific accessories for broadcast, recording and performance use. The MKH 8000 series is available in three models, offering omni-directional, cardioid, or super-cardioid pick-up patterns with a wide frequency response. The omni-directional MKH 8020, cardioid MKH 8040, and super-cardioid MKH 8050 each consist of two modules, the microphone head, and a separate XLR module.

One Systems Loudspeaker Enclosures

One Systems loudspeaker enclosures are comprised of either injection-molded copolymer that is impervious to moisture under any weather conditions, or high-tensile-strength plywood material that is weather-resistant in direct-weather conditions. Peerless SmartMount Articulating Arm Wall Mounts

Peerless Industries has introduced 12 new SmartMount Articulating Arm Wall Mount models that accommodate TVs from 32 inches up to 63 inches. The SmartMount Articulating Arm Wall Mounts provide four internal cable management channels for cable routing, each with one inch of cable storage space per channel. Installation features in the new Articulating Arms deliver horizontal position adjustment on the wall plate, up to 10.75 inches, to ensure the screen will be positioned where it needs to be. Single-stud or double-stud mount models are available.

Electro-Voice REV Wireless System

The REV professional wireless system from Electro-Voice offers an array of high tech features, including an optimized analog audio path developed with Digital Audio Labs to provide a representation of a wired microphone sound. REV-Link PC software enables remote monitoring, control, and programming over a CAN bus connection through an Electro-Voice UCC-1 converter or Electro-Voice Netmax N8000. Factory set channel groups allow up to 16 systems to operate simultaneously in one frequency band.

Revel Concerta Loudspeakers

Revel's Concerta in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers are a new series of architectural loudspeakers that combine uncompromised Revel sound and versatility. A direct result of an extensive R&D initiative employing the vast resources of parent company Harman International Industries, the new series includes the IC80 eight-inch in-ceiling loudspeaker, the IC65 6.5-inch in-ceiling loudspeaker and IW65 6.5-inch in-wall loudspeaker. All feature high-output, low distortion woofers, pivoting tweeter with integral waveguide, high-order crossover network, boundary compensation switch, and three-position tweeter level control.

Bretford BB Series Wide-Body TV Carts

Bretford's Basics Brand (BB) Series wide-body TV carts now incorporate the Cord Minder, Bretford's clever cable management accessory. Effective immediately, Bretford's BB44, BB48 and BB54 wide-body TV carts purchased for schools, businesses, libraries, and other commercial environments will include a complementary Cord Minder cable clip. The Cord Minder cable clip is an alternative that is simple to use and reuse without the need for screws, bolts, glue, or snaps. Users simply twist the Cord Minder onto the cart leg, adjust it and neatly fold the cords and cables out of the way.

Honeywell HPTV24-E Series

Honeywell Power Products has added a new line of video power supplies, offering installation professionals several areas of enhanced efficiency while retaining key product benefits. Created in response to voice-of-the-customer feedback, Honeywell's HPTV24-E Series products power CCTV cameras and other video accessories. The series features two-circuit protection choices of automotive fuses or circuit breaker type PTCs, transformers with built-in thermal protection for enhanced safety, LED diagnostic indicators for quick troubleshooting, and full factory assembly with all accessories for fast installation.

ATON DH44 Digital Audio Router

ATON's DH44 digital audio router features Digi5 technology. Digi5 is a new technology standard and structure that provides a complete end-to-end solution over alternative to Cat-5 wiring. Digi5 is based on advanced digital distribution and amplification circuits that allow multi-room audio systems to be installed more quickly and cost-effectively than ever before. Designed to accept any analog or digital audio/video component, the DH44 with Digi5 converts four analog source inputs to digital and passes digital source inputs over Cat-5 wire to all connected DHTP1 digital amplified touchpads. The system is expandable to 28 zones using DH46x expansion routers.

SpeakerCraft TIME Motorized Loudspeakers

SpeakerCraft has three new models in its series of TIME motorized loudspeakers. SpeakerCraft has created three smaller models in two different formats. The drivers in all three models are mounted at a fixed 45-degree angle inside of a cylinder that smoothly descends out of the ceiling when the system is activated. During setup the installer manually rotates the cylinder to point the speakers toward the listening area. The speakers return to their flush position when desired. All of this is accomplished through the use of a rugged miniature motor assembly, which is controlled and powered by a Cat-5 cable.

Mark Levinson No433 Power Amplifier

Based on the No432 and No431 power amplifiers, Mark Levinson's No433 is a triple-mono 200-watt power amplifier. Featuring a compact chassis and bottom-end heft and weight, the No433 takes command of the music with dynamics. Like all 400 series power amplifiers, the No433 doubles its rated eight-ohm power at 4 ohms. Combine that with independent power supplies for each channel, and the No433 is an appropriate companion for virtually any loudspeaker. The No433 is convection cooled, and therefore does not require fans.

Hunter Douglas Platinum Technology

Hunter Douglas Platinum Technology is window covering control that combines infrared and radio frequency control for both battery powered and hard-wired window fashions. The system uses a new remote control and allows users to control individual window fashions and grouped window fashions. Window coverings can be operated up to 30-feet away using the infrared control. In the radio frequency mode, the remote does not need to be pointed at a receiver eye for operation, and users don't even have to be in the same room as the window covering, but can be up to 100 feet away.

Allen & Heath ZED Range

Allen & Heath has launched a new range of small format, USB-equipped mixers for live performance, recording, and production. The first mixer to appear in the range is the ZED-14 stereo mixer, which provides 13 independent sources to the mix; 10 independent outputs; two pre-fade and two post-fade aux sends; a USB send and return for PC or Mac recording, playback and effects; a unique dual stereo input capability; and advanced monitoring facilities.

Leon Speakers Leon Seven

Each cabinet of Leon Speakers' Leon Seven features two hand-made Eton HEXACONE 7-inch long throw woofers, and the Raven R2 true ribbon tweeter from Orca. The fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley crossover utilizes purely non-inductive capacitors and solid copper foil air core inductors. The baffle is milled from billet aluminum and weighs over 75 pounds. The cabinet is milled from 3/4-inch billet aluminum reinforced with MDF and internal bracing.

MuxLab CATV Hub

MuxLab has introduced its latest addition for the broadband/CATV market, the CATV Hub 500300, 500301, 500303, and 500304. Developed for the commercial and residential market, the CATV Hub allows terrestrial broadband RF video and internet signal to be distributed to multiple RF receivers via Cat-5 unshielded twisted pair cable. The CATV Hub is available in two configurations; Desktop eight ports: 500300/500301 and rack mount sixteen ports: 500303/500304. The CATV Hub features a built-in RF amplifier and has a 900 MHz bandwidth for maximum cabling versatility. The CATV Hub features bi-directional capability thereby supporting both upstream and downstream Internet transmission as well as the higher digital cable channels.

NUUO NVR IP Series

The NVR IP-series supports full functionality for network surveillance in video analysis, video scheduling and recording, events detection, and instant responses. It is specially designed to support IP cameras, as well as fulfilling the security need of mid and small-scale properties of homes and businesses. Supporting the core of this software is the Smart Guard system, which does six different motion detections and six instant responses. NUUO IP-series can manage up to 64 cameras simultaneously. Features included dual monitor real-time AV displayer, intelligent detection, instant response, PTZ distance operation, GUI recording, real-time reviewer and filter, video enhancement tools, and multi I/O supports.

TVOne Task Video Scaler

TVOne's Task 1T-PCDVI-PCDVI video scaler is a high bandwidth, professional PC/component/DVI to digital DVI scaler that accepts PC generated RGB signals, HD component signals and DVI signals and scales them to a DVI or PC output of 1080p/WUXGA. The inputs of the 1T-PCDVI-PCDVI are DVI plus analog PC or HDTV in the formats of RGBHV, YPbPr, YCbCr, and the outputs consist of digital DVI plus PC/HD. Outputs are 480i through 1080p or VGA to WUXGA. Dual, high quality scaling engines are utilized with 8-bit triple-ADC phase locked loops.

Chief Adjustable Speaker Adapters

Chief Manufacturing has introduced new side and center channel speaker adapters for easy integration into flat panel wall installations. Chief's new PACLR1 left/right speaker adapter and PACCC1 center channel speaker adapter offer a low-profile and light-weight design for easy installation. The design features advanced adjustability to position speakers flush with the screen. For fast installation and a clean finish, both products ship pre-assembled and include cable management clips. The speaker adapters fit flat panel TVs up to 50 inches and are compatible with Chief's medium and large mounting solutions.

Barco iCon NH-12 and Galaxy NH-12

Barco's iCon NH-12 and Galaxy NH-12 combine the best of three-chip DLP technology and stereoscopic, system-integrated display techniques with a 12,000 lumens light output and durability-enhancing chassis. The iCon NH-12 and Galaxy NH-12 display all local and networked sources in movable, reconfigurable and resizable windows simultaneously. Their advanced picture-in-picture capabilities also make them suitable for videoconferencing in 1080p HD. They are operated with keyboard and mouse, and both sources and layouts can be selected easily through the Start Menu, thanks to Barco software.

Onkyo THX AV Receivers

Onkyo is shipping all four of its THX certified AV receivers to dealers. The line incorporates an extensive range of high-end features and new technologies designed to deliver the highest levels of performance available. All four receivers feature HDMI 1.3a compatibility, internal decoding for the latest lossless high-definition audio formats, XM and Sirius Satellite Radio compatibility, and HDMI-based system control integration. Two models, the TX-SR805 and TX-NR905, are the first receivers to include the Silicon Optix HQV Reon-VX video processing.

Brother P-Touch Labeling System

Brother International has introduced a new portable, handheld P-touch Electronic Labeling System, the Brother PT-1010. Brother's newest P-touch labeler is designed with a large LCD screen that allows users to preview label output. The PT-1010 includes a time and date hot key that lets users add time information. In addition, the PT-1010 comes with a new rubber grip to fit comfortably in the user's hand.

Envivio 4Caster C4 Encoder

Envivio is unveiling the latest version of its multichannel IP encoder for IPTV and internet TV. Part of the Envivio Convergence Generation headend supporting an all IP infrastructure, the 4Caster C4 encoder can now support both IPTV standard definition video resolutions as well as CIF internet TV resolutions, simultaneously. The C4 can also simultaneously encode in AVC/H.264 as well as in the Windows Media and QuickTime formats. The 4Caster C4 can output real time standard definition streams in market leading MPEG-4 video quality with up to a 60 percent reduction in bandwidth compared to MPEG-2 encoders.

Pragmatic PADS System

Pragmatic Communication Systems has introduced a new improvement for the original PADS system: the PH-16, a 16 output hub for audio distribution over Cat-5 cables. The PH-16 receives line level stereo audio on a Cat-5 cable from any of the Pragmatic PADS PT or PTI transmitters. The PH-16 hub then distributes the line level stereo audio to the rooms while simultaneously sending power for the amplifiers on the same Cat-5 cable. The PH-16 feeds up to 16 rooms and can be expanded infinitely with the loop output. PH-16 is compatible with the PA-15R and PA-15KP in-wall amplifiers with rotary or keypad volume controls.

Roland RSS VMixing System

Roland Systems Group's RSS VMixing System incorporates the RSS M-400 V-Mixer, Live Digital Console, configurable digital snakes with high quality remotely controlled mic preamps, and a multi-track recording option. This fully digital system eliminates the bulk and noise susceptibility typically associated with analog snakes and replaces it with Cat-5e cable. It sets up in minutes by plugging in one lightweight Cat-5e cable from a digital snake stage unit to the M-400 V-Mixer. The system generates sound quality by converting analog inputs to 24-bit digital streams at the stage via high-quality mic preamps located near the source.

Sentry 360 Securty FullSight IP

Sentry 360 Security's FullSight IP is a compact, five megapixel, immersive 360-degree camera with on-board video analytics. Through its wide-angle lens, FullSight IP camera monitors the whole scene continually, regardless of what the operator is doing. Powerful video analytics built into the camera are capable of initiating a virtual camera, which automatically tracks an object of interest. FullSight IP camera can be used standalone via a web browser, or it can be integrated into a video surveillance system via the network video recording software, where users can pan, tilt, and zoom after the fact in full five megapixel resolution of recorded video.

Cerwin Vega Active Series

Cerwin Vega's Active Series consists of two models, CVA-121 and CVA-118, featuring Cerwin Vega's driver design and bass performance, incorporated in a small, compact footprint. Built-in amplifiers provide a completely integrated active system, and a functional cast aluminum grill doubles as a heat-sink to minimize power compression and maximize driver performance. Along with XLR and 1/4-inch connectors, the CVA subwoofers have Master/Slave output connectors that allow for multiple CVA subwoofers to be daisy-chained together using a single signal.

Lexicon RV-5 Receiver

Lexicon's RV-5 receiver is an 8-channel AV control center offering capabilities previously only available in the flagship MC-12 HD. At its heart, the RV-5 features a multi-faceted audio and video preamplifier with built-in processing. Married to that is a high-current, 7-channel power amplifier capable of driving a wide array of loudspeakers and a built-in FM/AM tuner. In addition, the RV-5 can accommodate a pair of HDMI source devices and can connect directly to a PC via USB, enabling the control and playback of streaming audio files.

Sound-Craft Systems Educator Workstations

Sound-Craft Systems has released the latest addition to its growing line-up of Educator workstations. Designed to solve the dilemma of accommodating a wide variety of instructor teaching styles, the WSV-50 features a heavy-duty manual lift mechanism that raises the unit from a standard, ADA-compliant seated desk position up to a maximum height of 42 1/2 inches to accommodate standing instructors. A pullout keyboard tray on heavy-duty ball bearing slides is standard. The WSV-50 features an integral vented equipment cabinet featuring a locking door and front access panel and may be fitted with up to 16 rack unit rails or accessory shelves.

Turbosound Aspect Loudspeaker

Turbosound's Aspect TA-500t wide dispersion, trapezoidal three-way touring loudspeaker with integrated flying hardware, plus the new TXP range of self-powered loudspeakers, aimed at corporate rental applications, semi-pro/ professional musicians, and DJs. The TA-500t is available in two different formats, switchable bi-amped/tri-amped or self-powered/networkable, and brings the TA-500 Aspect Wide series up to a total of seven products, providing a multitude of practical solutions for both flown and ground stacked touring; downfill and infill use; as well as for fixed installations. The TA-500t features a one-inch HF driver on a Polyhorn device, a 10-inch MF driver on a Polyhorn and Turbo-loaded 15-inch LF driver.

Universal Remote Control MX-810 Remote Control

Universal Remote Control's MX-810 remote control provides home theater owners and professional installers with dedicated, custom control over single-room home theaters or AV entertainment systems. It's an ideal remote for single-room theater systems, as well as homes with multiple AV systems and more than one remote control, as each MX-810 remains dedicated to a single room's equipment, complete with a user-changeable label identifying the room. The MX-810 is fully compatible with URC's MSC-400 Master System Controller.

Zaxcom Broadcaster IFB Package

Zaxcom has created two digital audio microphone packages designed to make it easier for broadcasters and ENG professionals to wirelessly transmit and record broadcast-quality audio signals. Zaxcom's new Broadcaster IFB Package includes four TRX900AA transceivers with integrated IFB functionality, one IFB100 transmitter, one RX4900 single-rack receiver unit with four receivers, 2.4-GHz IFB signals, and RF remote control. The new ENG Package, designed to provide ENG audio professionals with a stereo bag-to-camera link with integrated confidence monitoring, is comprised of one TRX900AA with internal recording and IFB support, one STA100 stereo adaptor, one stereo receiver, and one IFB100 transmitter.

AGA TR-3 Subwoofer

Anthony Gallo Acoustics' TR-3 expands upon a powerful subwoofer by recalibrating the amplifier and adding an aluminum cone woofer, which will improve linearity. The TR-3 improves upon many of the existing popular characteristics of the TR-2, such as an integral bass equalizer that goes up to 6dB of low bass boost, with a total output of 300 watts RMS. The cylindrical steel enclosure mirrors spherical technology that allows for smooth, yet powerful, bass from 22Hz to 180Hz. The TR-3 has a continuously variable low pass filter from 50Hz to 180Hz, with a fixed 80Hz high-pass filter on high-level output.

Williams Sound Whisper Tour Guide System

The Williams Sound Whisper tour guide system ensures that everyone on a tour has an equal hearing experience. The tour guide uses the T863 transmitter equipped with a headset microphone to transmit their voice up to 98 feet throughout the listening area. Tour participants use the R863 receiver equipped with a headset, earphone or neckloop to pickup the guide's message. Individual volume controls on the receiver allow the participants to listen to the guide at their personal comfort level. The system features three selectable operating frequencies: 863.25 MHz, 863.75 MHz, or 864.75 MHz.

Halcro's EC800 disc player is the latest addition to the range of Halcro Logic products. The EC800 offers a host of features including HDMI, Video up-scaling, RS232 control, Ethernet connectivity, and a multitude of audio and video formats. Audio playback modes include; SACD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3-CD, MP3-DVD, and WMA-CD. Surround sound formats include DTS, Dolby Digital (AC-3), Dolby Pro Logic II, and Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound. Key Digital KD-HDMI2x4P & KD-HDMI2x8P

Key Digital Systems is introducing two HDMI switchers/distribution amplifiers in the KD-HDMI2x4P and KD-HDMI2x8P. These two new switchers can accommodate up to two HDMI inputs and distribute these signals into four (KD-HDMI2x4P) or eight (KD-HDMI2x8P) video outputs. Both switchers are HDMI 1.3 compliant with the capacity to handle all video signals from standard definition 480i to full HD 1080p. Features for these switchers include coaxial digital audio support, optical digital audio and analog audio. A Key Digital IAS circuit automatically senses and switches to the active video input.

Apollo Display Technologies

Apollo Display Technologies is offering a new range of kitted TFT LCD solutions that include Apollo LCDs and industrial single board computers from IBASE Technology. Apollo develops complete TFT LCD systems, consisting of a display, adapted industrial single board computer, and all accessories. These systems or kits consist of combined and coordinated components, as many as 10 depending on the application. Apollo is now offering kits for TFT LCDs ranging in size from 6.5- to 82-inch diagonal used in a wide variety of industrial applications as well as medical, marine, and digital signage.

Califone has upgraded the powered PI30 and PI30-PS Array loudspeakers to include two new outputs--a fixed output that will allow multiple loudspeakers to daisy-chain together and a variable output that will enable one unit to control the output of any of the other loudspeakers linked to it. The Array loudspeakers incorporate design principles that provide improved focus of output on the intended coverage area and off of surrounding reflective surfaces such as walls and ceilings. They take advantage of line array and column design principles to attain tight pattern control of the mid and high frequencies critical to intelligibility, making them ideal for a wide range of commercial applications.

Neutrik IP65 Rated Opticalcon

Neutrik has introduced its IP65 rated OpticalCon. The well-established solid fiber optic connector system has now been upgraded for dust tight and water jet protection. The upgrade extends the outdoor capabilities of the OpticalCon to, sealing the connector against dust and protecting it against water jet. This is especially useful when weatherproof extensions are required. To achieve a water resistant IP65 connection, additional seals and gaskets have been employed on the chassis connector and cable ends.

Chief PACPC1 Power Conditioner

Chief Manufacturing now offers a power conditioner designed to integrate with a Chief mount, protecting flat panel displays from spikes in electrical current. Chief's new PACPC1 power conditioner is designed to fit with Chief's flat panel wall mounts, extension columns, and in-wall accessories to ensure a fast installation. The PACPC1 provides surge protection up to 1890 joules, overvoltage protection shutoff, and noise filtering. The accessory includes two outlets and a 2-foot power cord.

VizionWare VZ-S5100

VizionWare has released the VZ-S5100 5x1 HDMI switcher and digital audio synchronizer. The VZ-S5100 has five HDMI inputs, each of which is combined with user-adjustable and programmable lip-sync correction that may be independently associated with its own degree of audio delay from 0-100ms in 2ms increments. Furthermore, an HDMI switcher is the ideal place to add lip-sync correction to an AV installation; otherwise, audio re-synchronization must occur at each source device, or in an AV receiver or AV processor, which may not contain a sufficient number of HDMI inputs.

NTP announced a new range of compact digital audio signal processors, the Penta 725 series. First in this family is the Penta 725-100, a stand-alone router with 64 AES/EBU stereo and dual MADI inputs/outputs. NTP's Penta 725-100 router conforms to AES3 protocol via rear-panel D connectors and to the AES10 Any standard sampling rate from 44.1 up to 192 kHz can be selected, synchronized to an internal generator or to external AES/EBU reference. Dual 85-250 V AC redundant power supplies are incorporated.

Lange Loudspeakers V Series

V218 of V Series is addressed as a main bass section of high quality sound reinforcement applications and it makes use of FaitalPRO drivers W18-N8, 18 inch woofers, capable to withstand 1,000W of continuous power; they have been chosen for the excellent linearity and for the light, long excursion voice coil. JBL Professional VRX Series Powered

Bringing power to its VRX Series portable line arrays, JBL Professional is introducing the VRX932LAP 12-inch powered loudspeaker and the VRX918SP 18-inch powered subwoofer. Utilizing the JBL DrivePack DPC-2 amplification system, both models are fully self-contained, powered loudspeakers. Retaining all the features of the original VRX932LA and VRX918S, self-powered performance has been optimized through integrated DSP. Designed for use in arrays of up to five units, the VRX932LAP is the ideal choice when line array performance is needed but the venue size does not call for the long-throw characteristics of large line array systems.

Tecom has launched the TechPod Multimedia Lectern. The TechPod provides trainers with a lectern featuring complete AV control in one unit, using a single, button-based control panel. It integrates all AV equipment required during training into a single, easy-to-operate compact console with a user-friendly interface, allowing the trainer to have complete control over all devices. Trainers and presenters actively use TechPod at government facilities, hospitals, and naval and army facilities, among others.

Riedel Digital Partyline Series

Riedel Communications has added several new products to its Performer digital partyline intercom series. The digital partyline intercom system featuring high-quality digital audio now provides 2- and 4-channel master stations, rack-mount, wall-mount and desktop speaker stations, call light indicators, and 2-channel beltpack headset stations. The new Performer master stations CR-4 and CR-2 are for setting up a stand-alone digital partyline system. Depending on the setup, the integrated power supply of the 19-inch/1RU device can power up to 32 Performer devices, such as beltpacks, split-boxes, or desktop speaker stations, per line.

Roland S-OPT

The S-OPT is a REAC optical converter that converts RSS Digital Snake System REAC signals to and from optical signals for long distance digital audio transmission. By using the REAC optical converter and optical cables, the REAC transmission distance can be extended to a maximum of 2 kilometers. The S-OPT optical connectors are Neutrik OpticalCon connectors and support Mobile Fiber Cable from Neutrik. This optical interface provides for transmitting audio over long distances via optical while still taking advantage of the RSS Digital Snake System's mobility.

It also allows DVI video to be routed via conventional routing switcher technology over a secure optical fiber signal path. Versions of the Cheetah V5-DVI are available as stand-alone modules or in a convenient 1 RU rack-mount kit. The optical fiber model has a range of up to 6 miles in single mode.

Kramer FC-47 and FC-48

Kramer Electronics has introduced two new products: the FC-47 and FC-48, for converting between HDMI and DVI plus digital audio signal formats. The FC-47 will accept an HDMI signal and it will output a digital DVI signal and S/PDIF audio signal. The DVI signal output is on a DVI-I connector and the S/PDIF audio is on an RCA connector. The FC-48 will output an HDMI signal by combining a digital DVI signal on a DVI-I connector along with an S/PDIF audio signal on an RCA connector.
