Austin, TX - D2Audio announced Brian Wong, formerly of Primarion and TRW, will take the company's helm as CEO.
"Brian Wong has a remarkable combination of experience, intelligence and industry savvy," said Jim Clardy, chairman of D2Audio's board of directors and interim CEO. "He has direct experience with Class D technology and market transition, having just gone through the conversion of power supplies from linear to digital. Those qualities make him a perfect fit to lead D2Audio through the next era of digital audio evolution."
With 23 years experience in communications, power and the mixed signal semiconductor industry, Wong's background dovetails well with D2Audio's market. He comes to D2Audio from Primarion, a privately held semiconductor company shipping production products into power management and optical I/O applications. There he held positions of interim CEO, EVP and head of marketing, business development, engineering and general manager during his five years with the company. Previous to that, Wong ran the mixed signal business at TRW, which included products such as high speed data converters and mixed signal ICs.
