With the Polycom Open Collaboration Network, announced recently, Polycom and its strategic partners believe they are better able to deliver unified communications (UC) solutions that fill the gaps and provide complete solutions to companies large and small and in all industries.

The main tenets of the Polycom Open Collaboration Network are standards-based solutions, solutions that are scalable, flexible, multi-network, and able to run in mixed environments. They run on more than one communications platform, and are fully redundant. Polycom is working with the leading unified communications platform providers to deliver applications that cut across different environments. Currently strategic partners include: Avaya, BroadSoft, HP, IBM, Juniper Networks, Microsoft, and Siemens. The company also has a larger network of ARENA partners who enhance the range and variety of unified communications.
