TAMPA, FL--Leading audio visual integrator AVI-SPL will take Chicago professionals back to school for the first AVI-SPL University program to be held at The Westin Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Ill., on Thursday, October 29. The program offers attendees access to industry-leading educational seminars taught by experts and certified trainers. AVI-SPL University is regarded as the largest professional audiovisual (AV) education series to be sponsored by a comprehensive AV solutions provider.
Special guest Beth Jones-Schall, founder and president of Spirit of Success, Inc., will present two unique seminars entitled “I have to work with WHO?” and “Courage for Challenging Times.”
Other University sessions highlight various subjects including collaborative meetings, telepresence, video teleconferencing, “green” AV solutions, digital signage and audio optimization.
Exclusively available at the Chicago event, a special higher-education session will be presented by Menko Johnson, an instructional technologist at Stanford University's Wallenberg Hall. The session is entitled “Transforming the Classroom Experience - How Interactive Whiteboards have changed the Nature of Teaching and Learning at Stanford University.” Johnson’s work at Stanford focuses on effective integration of technology in teaching spaces, emphasizing collaboration and flexibility.

AVI-SPL University will also feature a Tech Expo showcasing the latest technology products from industry-leading manufacturers.
