- Mitsubishi Digital Electronics is introducing two new high-brightness, dual-lamp installation projectors using Texas Instruments’ DLP technology. The XD8100U XGA and widescreen WD8200U WXGA projectors offer a plethora of options to meet end users’ and installers’ most demanding environments. The XD8100U and WD8200U each offer dual-lamp technology, but depending on environmental projection needs, users can operate these models in either single or dual lamp mode for a sharp and high bright image. With this feature, these projectors are appropriate for applications that require 24/7/365 operation or in areas with variable ambient light; users can switch between lamps for a longer lamp life or use both lamps window shades are open during the day.
