The CoreTM 2 Duo processor easily combines content from a variety of sources and formats, and the 945GM graphics system produces seamless high-definition 1080p displays. The DSA-3400 supports multiple video formats simultaneously, with animated flash, RSS feeds, and XML support, and is compatible with most leading Windows-based signage software packages.
- - Industrial-grade Reliability. The DSA-3400 includes special hardware and software features that are especially appropriate for digital signage applications. The EWF (Enhanced Write Filter), running as part of the Windows® XP Embedded OS, ensures the security and stability of digital signage applications by protecting partitions from write-access. While other functions, such as the automatic reboot controls, and the Watchdog Timer, provide users with full X86 flexibility with additional security and reliability.
- - Wireless and TV-tuner Optional Available. Advantech offers two optional additions to the basic DSA-3400, one with a built-in WiFi module, and the other with a built-in TV-tuner. The WiFi model is ideal for mobile installations or locations that are not Ethernet-ready, while the TV-tuner version is ideal for application scenarios that require display of broadcast TV content.
