Casio America’s Super Slim projector models feature DLP projection technology. The XJ-S32, XJ-S37, XJ-S42, and XJ-S47 models are part of Casio’s Ultra Bright Seriesè designed for high brightness applications and mobile presenters. The new models will also support connectivity for control through RS-232 and will be compatible with Crestron, Extron, and AMX products. EAW SMS Series Speakers

SpeakerCraft Sound Pillows
SpeakerCraft’s Sound Pillows can be mounted on any solid surface with only a small cutout for the wire terminations. Installers have a choice of two mounting methods depending on the surface. A “dog frame” allows for installation in standard drywall with flip-out dogs that sandwich the drywall like a standard in-wall speaker. A mounting plate is then attached to the frame. This mounting plate also contains the speaker wire connections. Wires are attached to the plate and the connections to the speaker itself take place automatically when the speaker is connected to the plate and secured with two push-in tabs. The mounting plate can also be directly mounted to the wall surface or to a junction box if desired.

Honeywell Power Products has developed an interactive graphics tool for determining the voltage parameters of a specific fire alarm’s NAC. The HPPCalc is a free program that evaluates NAC devices and their location on a circuit along with conductor size and maximum current draw. Now fire alarm system designers can optimize circuits easily using the interactive HPP-Calc program rather than paper and pencil. Customized for Honeywell Power Products equipment, the HPP-Calc utilizes power supply source values measured by UL during product testing.

Denon’s DN-C620 CD Player offers contractors and system integrators a versatile CD player at a cost-effective price point. The DN-C620 is compatible with standard audio data file formats including CDDA and MPEG-1/2 Layer III and WAVE, allowing for up to 20 hours of MP3 or similar audio playback from a single CD, CD-R or CD-RW, making it well suited to serve as a continuous audio playback device for houses of worship, health clubs, restaurants, and various broadcast applications. The DN-C620 features front panel control.
Zaxcom Fusion 12
Zaxcom’s Fusion 12 high-resolution audio mixer/recorder provides all of the functionality of a traditional hard-disk-based audio recorder but with no moving parts, optimizing it for sound bag or over-the-shoulder use. Like all Fusion systems, the new Fusion 12 achieves low weight and power efficiency by eliminating the use of a hard drive, which additionally removes concerns of hard drive damage from extreme temperatures or motion. Avocation SR-2
Avocation is releasing its Serial Router (SR-2). The SR-2 allows products with only one RS-232 port to be controlled by two separate control systems. Data from the controlled product is returned to both controllers through the SR-2.
OnSSI & PSION Teklogix Surveillance System
PSION Teklogix has selected OnSSI as the provider for its new networked video surveillance system. PSION Teklogix’s new system will be provided by Niscayah, who purchased the product through Anixter, an OnSSI value-added distributor. The PSION Teklogix installation will feature IP cameras from Axis controlled and recorded using NetDVMS, one of OnSSI’s strategic, market leading enterprise NVRs. With NetDVMS, full resolution images from any or all cameras can be recorded and stored to any location on the network without the need for video matrixes, multiplexers or switches. Cameras can be accessed, controlled and viewed using a wide range of clients.

Harman HiQnet System Architect 1.9
Harman has launched HiQnet System Architect Version 1.9, a free download which delivers a host of new features including network troubleshooting tools, file compression and management, advanced control panel customization, and more. Harman continues to add new devices to the HiQnet portfolio. Control of the three models of the new Crown I-Tech HD Series will be possible with the device plug-ins included with System Architect 1.9. The new version also brings with it the fourth member of the Crown XTi Series, the XTi 6000, taking the total number of shipping HiQnet devices to 94 and the total number of System Architect-controlled devices to 67.
Sanyo PLV-Z3000 Projector
Sanyo’s new PLV-Z3000 is a 120Hz full HD 1080p LCD projector that features Sanyo’s exclusive 3D color management system, a high contrast ratio of 65,000:1, an advanced lens shifting function and a quiet fan system. The PLV-Z3000 also introduces 5:5 pull down, for the most frame accurate delivery of all source material. Replacing the PLV-Z2000, the new PLVZ3000 offers Sanyo’s proprietary TopazReal HD technology, which includes 14-bit digital processing and the real-focus HD lens system. TopazReal HD is a 3D color management system that address changes in color phase and color level to obtain perfect color reproduction, producing approximately 216 billion color combinations.
