WEST CHESTER, PA—Advanced AV, a systems integration firm in West Chester, PA, is celebrating 25 years of business this year. Founded on July 1, 1985, the firm has grown its expertise and knowledge base alongside the many technology changes that have occurred over the years, and has endured a few challenges of its own. Paul Grafinger, company founder and current CEO, said, “After a recent rough patch, we’ve gone through a management change over the past two years that has renewed our focus and that prepares us for what’s to come.”
Advanced AV and its sister companies, Advanced Staging Productions rental and MC3 creative services, began as separate departments within the same company and eventually emerged as three distinct business units. Today, Steve Wildemann oversees Advanced Staging Productions, Bob Russell and Bob Armstrong lead MC3, and now Michael Boettcher is the president of Advanced AV.
From the client’s perspective, Advanced AV’s dedication to customer service and the willingness to go beyond industry standards is the biggest differentiator. “Our biggest strength is our people and our dedication to a well-trained, industry certified workforce,” said Boettcher.
