- BALTIMORE, MD--After 15 years in its Hanover, MD, location, Event Tech, a leading provider of production services, has moved to a new facility in Baltimore.
The new facility is situated on more than two acres of property that Event Tech bought in December 2007. It has more than 22,000 square feet of warehouse space with drive-in access, nearly 5000 square feet of offices, technicians’ lounge, more than 7000 square feet of secured outdoor storage and four loading docks each of which can accommodate a 53-foot tractor trailer. There are also four van-height loading docks and ample parking for employees and visitors. The building has been under construction for a year.
“Over the years, Event Tech has grown significantly and consistently in inventory and in our ability to handle larger, more complex events,” said company President Eric Maynard, “we knew we were going to need more space, and purchasing a building was the logical step.”
The new facility is located conveniently off three major roadways: I-695, I-95 and I-295 (the Baltimore/Washington Parkway). It’s also close to BWI (Thurgood Marshall Baltimore/Washington International Airport).
The relocation is part of the company’s continuing expansion efforts. It will allow Event Tech to maintain its strong growth and service its customers’ needs more efficiently.
