Chris Bull, CEO of Taurus Display, has been named Chairman of Point-of-Purchase Advertising International (POPAI) a Virginia-based global trade group for the $19 billion in-store advertising industry. The announcement was made at POPAI's Board of Directors meeting held in Dusseldorf, Germany.
- Bull began his career in the point-of-purchase advertising industry in 1987 and went on to become one of the co-founders of Taurus Display in 1990. Since then, Taurus Display has grown from an organization of three employees to designers and producers of retail marketing with more than 30 full-time employees and offices in Moorestown, NJ, New York, Illinois and North Carolina and Massachusetts.
Taurus Display currently creates in-store displays and merchandising for such brands and retailers as Apple, Black & Decker, Gerber, Sony, Titleist, Best Buy, Circuit City, Verizon Wireless, The Gap, The Home Depot, Shop-Rite, Walgreens and Wal-Mart, to name a few.
In addition, Bull has served on POPAI's Board of Directors for six years, most recently serving as Vice Chairman of the organization. In his role as POPAI's Chairman, Bull will have a hand in planning the trade group's strategic growth and future objectives.
Bull resides in Haddonfield, NJ and is active in several community organizations.
