- CHATSWORTH, CA--Connectivity solutions provider Gefen has announced that AVAD is a master distributor for Gefen's digital signage solutions. Successful completion of an intensive two-day training at Gefen's LA-based headquarters provided AVAD with its master distributor status.
- "This certification means AVAD sales and training professionals are able to guide their dealers and customers through all aspects of their digital signage installations, from simple video wall implementation to more complex, multi-layered content development," explained Gefen's Digital Signage Director, John Novak.
- To demonstrate its ability to implement Gefen's digital signage solutions and highlight key business partners, AVAD has created a five display digital signage install in its booth at CEDIA. Gefen's plug and play Video Wall Controller will distribute high definition video content to all five displays. Pre-recorded content will highlight AVAD's key offerings and promote key sponsors to attendees browsing through the booth. All content is stored on the Gefen Digital Signage Creator (DSC) and is in constant rotation throughout the show.
- The DSC works with any Windows-based computer and gives users full control over their digital signage content. The intuitive layout program offers the ability to create content, inlay music, layer video images, write scripts to control content and pull RSS feeds off the Internet. It comes equipped with both HDMI and VGA with L/R audio outputs to support both digital and analog displays. RS-232 can be used to turn the displays on/off.
- In line with AVAD's "We Put it All Together" messaging, the interactive demo station will highlight the many products and services AVAD provides, from project inception through to completion. Dealers will learn how to better serve their customers through comprehensive training and workshops presented by AVAD, backed by Gefen's extensive knowledge in audio/video connectivity as well as ongoing support.
