NORTHFIELD, OH--Stage Research, will hold a one-day training session in Houston to introduce sound designers to SFX 6, the new version of the companys live entertainment sound playback software. The session will take place March 19 in the Hilton Americas hotel.
Sound designers worldwide have adopted SFX so weve scheduled this training session for the new SFX 6 software the day before we exhibit at the USITT Trade Show for the convenience of convention-goers, says Carlton Guc who is partnered with Brad Rembielak in Stage Research.
More than just an update of the popular application, SFX 6 has been rewritten from the ground up and boasts an array of new features.
The one-day training session will give sound designers the scoop on these new offerings in a class limited to 16 people enabling attendees to get real hands-on time with the software. The agenda calls for the morning introductory session and training to be followed by more advanced tutoring in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided along with snacks and soft drinks throughout the day.
The sessions will be conducted by Carlton Guc. Registration for the
session is required. The session fee is $195.
