HAYWARD, CA--Jupiter Systems announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management and quality assurance. Jupiter was initially certified in 2005 under the earlier ISO 9001: 2000 standard.
“We are very pleased to announce this milestone achievement,” said Charles F. “Chuck” Kelley, vice president of operations. “Jupiter has made quality management and control a top priority for its worldwide operations. This new certification recognizes our efforts and the importance we place on delivering the highest standard of quality management. Total customer satisfaction through continuous improvement is the goal of Jupiter Systems.”
ISO 9001:2008 certification indicates that Jupiter Systems has achieved industry best practices for quality management, effectively measuring and improving levels of customer satisfaction, and demonstrating consistently the measures required to provide a product that meets all customer applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. This includes procedures that cover all related operations: process monitoring and record keeping, regular review of processes, and ongoing system improvement.
“With this certification, Jupiter Systems will continue to build and manufacture products that provide the highest level of quality, functionality and performance,” said Kelley.
Jupiter processes are also undergoing similar evaluation in China, where a wholly owned company subsidiary, Jupiter Systems China, manufactures display wall systems for that market.
