CERRITOS, CA--Elite Screens has begun a European expansion with the formation of Elite Screens Europe GmbH, located in Hamburg, Germany. Elite Screens' new facility is the sales, marketing, logistics and service location for Europe.
"As projector sales grow in Europe, so does the need for high quality, low cost projection screens," said Jeff Chen, president and founder of Elite Screens, Inc. "We're excited to offer our American projection industry knowledge and brand name products to this market."
As managing director of Elite Screens Europe, Erik Schuldt brings seven years of experience in the audio/visual industry, and is responsible for building the company in sales, marketing, customer service and logistics functions throughout Europe. His mission is to provide quality projection screens with immediate availability and excellent customer service that Elite Screens is known for in America. He previously helped build BenQ to its leading position in market share in Germany and Austria, and served as a senior product manager, displays and projectors, for BenQ.
Elite Screens understands that in the past, projection screens had to be custom ordered, which took time to individually produce and ship, resulting in high costs. Elite instead offers mainstream projection screens with comparable quality in standard sizes at reasonable prices in America and has had great success in doing so. With its methods perfected, Elite Screens is now looking forward to reaching the European AV marketplace.
"You can get a fantastic 1080p projector for under $4000, so why would you want to spend $5000 for a screen?" Chen said. "You can buy an Elite Screen for $500 that suits the most exacting presentation and video needs."
