LOS ANGELES, CA--Northrop Grumman Corporation presented a Gold Supplier award to CCS Presentation Systems of California. CCS routinely demonstrated excellence in product quality, on-time delivery, competitive pricing and other value-added services in 2007. This is the 4th year in a row that CCS achieved this honor.
CCS was recognized by Northrop Grumman's Space Technology sector at its annual Supplier Day conference in Long Beach, Calif. The day-long conference had the theme of a Trusted Supplier Base - Partnering for Success.
"Our suppliers play a pivotal role in helping achieve our sector's vision, which is to be the most trusted provider of systems and technologies that ensure the security and freedom of our nation and its allies," said Alexis Livanos, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman's Space Technology sector. "By fostering innovation, collaboration and trust in our suppliers, they become essential team members who share in our commitment to delivering superior program performance."
Northrop Grumman Space Technology's rigorous Supplier Rating Program requires suppliers and subcontractors to participate in an ongoing performance assessment. Gold suppliers are selected on the basis of a scorecard that rates each supplier's management, quality, technical, schedule and financial performance.
CCS was able to maintain their Gold Supplier status year after year by successfully executing AV system integration projects and for providing on-site service to over (200) of Northrop's AV systems company wide throughout the year.
"CCS was the only business of our kind to achieve the NGST Gold Supplier status. CCS District Sales Manager Carl Adams and Service Department Manager Edgar Aguilar deserve the bulk of the credit for this success along with our L.A. based Installation and Integration Team," said Brian Reilly CCS Presentations Systems director of sales.
