Digital signage will be the focus of an all-new product showcase and free seminar at the 2004 NSCA Systems Integration Expo March 19-21 in Las Vegas NSCA and partners ActiveLight and Systems Contractor News magazine.
The pavilion, Digital Signage Showcase LIVE, and a free seminar held Sunday, March 21 will offer systems integrators ideas on both designing and installing the hottest new technology in the industry today and serve as a draw for possible partners, such as marketing firms and other content providers. The showcase will include a grouping of computer software exhibits and other solution-providers, including such companies as Visual Circuits, Commwerx and RGB Labs. To highlight the capabilities of the emerging technology, the center of the 5,000 square-foot area will feature a working display of a variety of digital signage applications. Key manufacturers have provided additional sponsorship of the Digital Signage Showcase LIVE pavilion, including: Panasonic, Pioneer, Samsung and NEC America and NEC/Mitsubishi.
Complimenting the product showcase, a seminar Demystifying Digital Signage will be hosted by ActiveLight on Sunday, March 21st. The session is free and will include discussions of how the technology works and the distinct benefit it brings to the customer. The class will be promoted to end-users, including content providers and professionals seeking to implement the technology within their unique applications.
For the staging market in particular, new signage technology (both display and content management systems) means that messaging and information dissemination is no longer limited to the big screens on stage, but is often expected throughout the event space. Registration is open at www.nscaexpo.org for the 2004 NSCA Systems Integration Expo. Badges and class tickets are available online or by using the faxable registration forms found in the 2004 brochure that was mailed December 1.
Planned for March 19-21 in the Las Vegas Convention Center, the NSCA Systems Integration Expo offers attendees more than 500 exhibits of today's leading integrated systems technologies for the commercial marketplace. Exhibits target systems designers and installers and feature audio, A/V presentation, stage and lighting, tele/data and video. New in 2004 is the addition of the Security/Life Safety pavilion sponsored by the PSA Security Network. The pavilion will feature more than 100 of the industry's leading providers of security products.
