- ABU DHABI—Integrated Systems Events and CMP Information announced the launch of a new exhibition for the professional AV and systems integration industry to serve the Middle East and North African (MENA) markets. The inaugural Integrated Systems Middle East Africa (ISMEA for short) will take place 23- 24 March 2009 at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center (ADNEC), which is billed as the most modern convention center in the world.
- The agreement between Integrated Systems Events—which is a joint venture between InfoComm International and CEDIA—and CMPi will see the two companies being jointly responsible for selling, organizing, and promoting ISMEA as the sole tradeonly exhibition in the region fully focused on audiovisual and electronic systems integration technologies.
