Halsted Commercial Training Group along with PDI SAT, Stirling Connectors, Applied Instruments, Foxcom, Drake, Platinum Tools, and Sonora Designs have launched an initiative to provide advanced certification and product trainings for retailers, integrators and installers nationwide in San Diego & Chicago last month. The schedule, which is located at www.rfcertification.com/html features stops in cities nationwide. Industry leaders such as DIRECTV will host trainings at their facilities in Denver, Los Angeles, and Baltimore. Stirling Connectors will host two weeks of training at their facility in Indianapolis & NAS will host classes at their headquarters in Brooklyn NY.
All sessions incorporate extensive hands on materials including thousands of feet of cable, a complete live SMATV system along with full MFH-1 & MFH-2 over fiber distribution systems. This allows the student to experience real life situations as they replicate the very problems they are expected to solve during the certification exam.
Each day a "lunch and learn session" will be featured. Lunch is provided while an industry leader demonstrates relevant product solutions to topics discussed in class. A highlight of these seminars has been the Stirling Connectors lunch and learn sessions, where everyone who participated received a free Stirling compression toolkit and universal compression connectors. Lunch and learn partners include: Foxcom Fiber Optic Products, Drake Modulators, Applied Instruments, Platinum Tools and Sonora Designs among others.
