FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY--Azden and PLUS Vision of America have announced a strategic partnership. The two companies are planning to combine on a "Better Learning Capabilities in the Classroom" project which would focus on Azden's Infrared audio expertise and PLUS' extensive experience in projectors and copyboards.
Kick-off for the project will be at Infocomm in Anaheim, where contractors and dealers will be able to see the products to be offered and information on each companies plans will be available.
Azden has long been a "private label" supplier to many of the major suppliers in the Classroom market, collaborating with the engineers from these companies to create products that meet the unique requirements of the classroom environment. A leading manufacturer for these products for over a dozen years, Azden started with VHF wireless and moved to UHF and sophisticated Infrared wireless systems.
Because of its unique properties, Infrared is ideal for classrooms, conferencing and other corporate applications. PLUS Vision enjoys a strong relationship with its dedicated group of contractors, nationwide, for both projectors and electronic copyboards.
Although the 2 firms have separate channels of distribution, initial plans call for Plus Visions' installers and contractors to be the main entry point for the classroom market. Azden Corporation is headquartered in Franklin Square, LI, NY and PLUS Vision is located in Beaverton, Oregon.
