- Harris Corporation, an international communications and information technology company, announces that Intelligent Media Ltd, a specialist in the deployment and operation of digital signage screen networks, has installed the first largescale Harris InfoCaster systems in Greece. Intelligent Media operates one of the largest digital signage networks in the health sector, including systems at Iaso, Mitera and Leto maternity hospitals, as well as Iaso General, Metropolitan and Hygeia general clinics and Iaso pediatric clinic in Greece.
- Following intensive market research and product review, Intelligent Media chose the InfoCaster product because it offered a highly robust and scalable solution to support content creation, dispatch and
management for digital signage applications. The system provides Intelligent Media with a cost-effective solution that enables them to handle all operations from their company’s central offices in Athens.
“Due to an increase in digital signage projects that we were involved with, our requirements became more complex, and our need for a single-point content management solution grew,” said Georgios Tsintzilonis, general manager of Intelligent Media Ltd. “The acquisition of digital signage software was essential, and InfoCaster proved itself during the trial phase to be the best solution on the market to fit our needs, as it provided full control over both content creation and management. Using InfoCaster helped us to manage our networks, but it also allowed us to deploy more networks in less time. It was also cost-efficient in terms of management, as we would have needed a large number of additional operators to continue serving standalone screens in this number.”
The sale was handled by AMY SA, a Harris dealer in Greece. AMY Digital Video, a department within AMY SA that specializes in digital video solutions, provided the design and consultancy services for this installation. AMY Digital Video also handles the support and maintenance of this system, as well as other installations of the InfoCaster digital signage networks in Greece.
