- Menasha Packaging has been named the 2008 Manufacturer of the Year in an award competition sponsored by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The award was given from the category for employers with more than 300 employees.

- Although the award was given in the Fox Cities, where the company is headquartered, the award was based on performance of the entire company.
- Menasha Packaging was judged against other companies in seven categories, including manufacturing and operational excellence, environmental sustainability solutions for customers, continuous improvement and community support and involvement.
- The company has made significant investments in its Fox Cities-area operations in the past two years. Menasha added new equipment and technology upgrades to its Neenah corrugator in 2007 and installed a new KBA offset press at its Neenah Printing facility earlier this year. The company is also in the midst of an expansion of its Wide Web pre-print facility that will allow for the addition of a 98-inches central impression press with coating, which will come on-line later this year.
