- Creative Realities announced its acquisition of digital out-of-home solutions company, DOOHit Digital. As part of the acquisition, DOOHit Digital's Lisa Katz and Steve Brooks will join Creative Realities. Katz will serve as VP of Business Development, and Brooks will become Director of Digital Design.
- DOOHit Digital, founded by Katz and industry veteran Laura Davis-Taylor, produces digital content for the web, mobile applications, in-store signage, interactive kiosks, and digital storefronts. The company creates what it calls "creative with accountability," meaning all content is tracked and optimized to ensure it achieves targeted business results.
- Brooks started his eight-year run at MaxMedia as a senior producer, working largely with interactive content for the web. He was promoted to client-partner, where he served as a direct liaison between the client and his creative team. Early on, he identified the imminent convergence of a brand's online content with its in-store experience. This insight shifted his focus to events, digital signage, in-store media, and how combining these elements could create a holistic customer experience.
- "Our focus is insight-driven innovation, which is right in line with Creative Realities' business philosophy," says Brooks. "We don't start with a tactical plan. We start with an understanding of the business challenge and the customer, and then create the appropriate tools to best address those challenges."
- Lisa Katz and Steve Brooks will operate out of Creative Realities' Atlanta location. They will be a part of the firm's strategic and creative group, Studio CRI. As part of Studio CRI, they will work closely with the firm's New York City-based strategic and creative personnel, managed by VP of Creative Services, Robin Reardon. Reardon also manages the firm's Manhattan office and research and development space, The Lab.
